Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium gives kids affected by childhood cancer what they needthe chance to just be kids.

A diagnosis of childhood cancer is a big, scary, sudden swerve in the road. It changes life in an instant. Simple childhood joys like friendships, birthday parties, or sports teams are left behind in the need for medical appointments, hospital stays, and absences from school. Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium offers a hopeful journey—where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families can connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.

We meet kids battling cancer on their first day of diagnosis at paediatric cancer centres across Ontario. Kids, siblings, and parents can access programs in hospitals or close to home, or attend overnight camp, all at no charge to them.

By registering and fundraising with CampOut for Cancer you’ll make this possible, and more:

  • Welcoming Campers back to in-person community programs and overnight camp in 2021!
  • Funding our virtual summer camp (including camp-in-a-box kits), keeping Campers connected and engaged, wherever they are!
  • Continuing in-hospital bedside programs at SickKids, McMaster Children’s Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre!

No matter what—with your help, you can help us be there for 2,000 kids and families affected by childhood cancer throughout the pandemic.

“When your child has cancer, there is so much you can’t control: his treatments, testing, or prognosis. The one thing I can influence is his happiness. Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium is a trusted partner in making him happy. It’s so important to his recovery.” —Erin, grateful parent
